It's commonly known as the NATO jacket. It has a substantial weight and is made of sturdy fabric. Unlike many field jackets that only use the outer fabric, this one also uses the same cotton satin fabric for the lining, giving it a heavy and substantial feel. It has a similar texture to the US Army's M-65 jacket. The design and functionality are also similar, but it features diagonally placed pockets with distinctive flaps on the front, and two-stage adjustment buttons on the cuffs, which are both functional and stylish. The front placket is a storm flap design, which helps to prevent wind from entering. Attaching the optional hood further enhances the functionality of the field jacket.
